Jamey Dewayne Morgan, 39 of Addison, entered into rest on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Arley.
Jamey was born on November 13, 1980 in Jasper, Alabama. He attended Addison High School in the Class of 1999. Jamey enjoyed fishing and hunting and taking people on fishing and hunting trips with him. He loved life and laughing. He always had a big smile on his face and he'd sure put one on yours as well. His favorite three words were "don't be stupid". For several years, Jamey coached girls softball and through that, he touched many girl's lives. Of all the things he enjoyed and loved, he loved his girls and his family most of all.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 5-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be held on Thursday at 12pm. Brother Mike Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in Trussell Family Cemetery in Arley.
Jamey is survived by fiance' Amanda McDonald; his children, MaKenzie LeAnn Morgan, Hannah Grace Morgan and Railyn Piper Morgan; step-daughter, Caitlin Nicole McDonald; father, Rickey Morgan; mother, Marilyn Thompson; brothers, Jeremy Burnett and Shawn Morgan; sisters, Jalane McGee and her husband Josh, Jana Burnett and Rebecca Morgan; nephews, Braxton and Shaden Morgan, Braden and Caden Burnett, Skyler Smith, Jayden McGee and Joshua Gardner; nieces, Krystlyn Aycock and Shalane Hanson; grandparents, Allene and Joe Bard; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Ruby Morgan, and Wash Trussell.
