James Warren, age 94 of Haleyville, passed away February 11, 2023 at Lakeland Community Hospital.
He was born October 26, 1928 in Moreland, Alabama
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Nichols Funeral Homes in Double Springs, where the service will be held at 1:00pm. A burial will follow at Center Cemetery in Danville, Alabama. Vance Hutton, and Jeff Boyles will officiate.
James is survived by his wife, Doris Fay Warren; children, Mark Warren, Stacy Warren, and Neil Warren; daughter-niece, Nicole Hudson (Larry); grandchildren, Amanda Baldwin, Greg Warren (Ashley), Jacob Warren (Samantha), Patrick Warren; great grandchildren, Emma Baldwin, Landon Baldwin, Aratay Warren, Roman Warren, and Samuel Warren; sister, Pearline Armstrong; nieces, Judy Hill (Buster), Linda Conway (Kevin), Latisha Gonzales (Rick), Martha Sanders (Jim), and Kim Harris; nephews, Don Watson, and Lonnie Warren (Kim); sisters-in-law, Ruby and Betty Hampton; and brothers-in-law, Irwin Hampton (Cathy) and Kevin Hampton (Freda).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mattie Warren; an infant child; son, Tim Warren; an infant sister; sisters, Lydia Bell Warren and Alice Vealey Warren; brother and sister-in-law; Mitchell and Poggie Warren; brother and sister-in-law, Russel and Bonnie Warren; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Ruby Watson; and brother, Jim Warren.
The family would like to thank Dr. B. Remesh Reddy and his staff, Lakeland Community Hospital Staff, and the staff of Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for their compassion and care provided to Mr. Warren and his family.
