James Franklin Steele

James Franklin Steele, 64 of Double Springs, entered into rest on Monday, November 8, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence.

Mr. Steele was born on April 23, 1957 in Haleyville.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 12-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be at 2pm. Brother Steve Wakefield will officiate. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

James is survived by his daughter, Tabetha Tunget; son, Brian (Brandy) Steele; grandchildren, Makayla Pratt, Kristopher Tunget, Emilee Tunget, Raylee Turner, Braxton Steele, and Hadley Treece; sisters, Tammy Steele, Cynthia Lamon and Rebecca (Waid) Driver; brothers, Russell Steele and Mark (Miranda) Steele; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parent, Ike and Geneva Steele; brothers, Randy Steele and Lyndon Lake; and nephew, Ryan Jackson.
