James Nelson Kelley Jr.

James Nelson Kelley, Jr. age 92 of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at his residence. 

He was born December 3, 1931 to James and Estelle Kelley. James loved building things, was an Alabama fan and loved the Crimson Tide.

James is survived by his son, James Kelley; daughter, Debbie K. Kretzschmar; granddaughter, Farrah (Scott) Browning; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jordon Browning; brothers, Sonny Kelley and Louis Kelley; and sisters, Betty Stanford and Pat Russell. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Kelley; parents, James and Estelle Kelley; and a host of brothers and sisters.
