James "Jimmy" Mansel Cole Jr.

James Mansel “Jimmy” Cole, Jr of Sardis Community, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Jimmy was born on July 5, 1942 to James and I.V Cole. He loved his family and was a wonderful provider. Jimmy worked for 25 years at Southern Energy Homes. He held many roles there, but his favorites were welding and maintenance. He was a tough task master and demanded perfection from himself and those who worked with him, but he enjoyed teaching the “young boys” with whom he worked. After he retired, Jimmy enjoyed welding and metal working at home. He made crosses from horseshoes and flowers from tin cans and gave them away for others to enjoy. He loved to work with his daughter, Michelle on various projects and could construct anything out of cardboard and make it look real.

Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2024 from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church #2 in the Sardis Community.
