Iva Jean Smith

Iva Jean Smith, 82 of Arley, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Lakeland Community Hospital.

Iva was born on September 26, 1939 in Winston County, Alabama.   

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10-11am at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be at 11am. Brother Steton Hayes will officiate.

Iva is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Buchanan and her husband William, and Jo Vandiver; son, Brian Smith; sister-in-law, Evelyn Smith; grandchildren, Kathryn Walker, Brandon Keaton and his wife Emily, Joseph Quinn, Alex Davis and his wife Britney, Destiny Bullis, and Jennifer Smith; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Smith; son, Joel Robert Smith; daughter, Teresa Smith; grandson, Christopher Skelton; parents, Udorse and Amzona Vandiver; brothers, Robert Vandiver and Junior Vandiver; and sister, Josephine Garrison.
