Ida Norene Abbott

Ida Norene Abbott, age 81 of Houston, AL, formerly of Hollywood, FL, entered into rest on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.

She was born on July 29, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11:00am at Houston Congregational Church Cemetery in Houston, Alabama. Brother T.J. Millican will officiate.

Ida is survived by her children, Deborah Davey, Robert Abbott, and wife Tammy, Arnold Abbott, and wife Sue, and Ronny Abbott; grandchildren, Alicia Coleman, Shawn Abbott, Leslie Abbott, and Amber Ferrell; great grandchildren, Hudson Coleman, Zoey Coleman, Madison Coleman, Brayden Abbott, Adaline Abbott, Jackson Abbott, and Bekley Abbott; sister, Leslie Jane Spain; nieces, Stephanie Dabush and Jennifer Wisinski; and great niece, Mariah Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Karnes and Bernice Jane Haneline; daughter, Julie Marlin; brother, Rick Karnes; and sister, Carean Sue Karnes
