Hillard Brannon, 81, of Addison, Alabama entered into rest on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital.

Hillard was born on October 10, 1939 in Addison, Alabama. Hillard loved classic cars, his family, and working on his cattle farm. He was a workaholic who loved being busy. Hillard also enjoyed listening to music, especially country and old gospel.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Addison First Baptist Church where service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Addison. Brothers Kenny Sudduth and Kelly Ergle will officiate.

Hillard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Etta Brannon; sons, Steve Brannon and his wife Melinda, and Mark Brannon and his wife Liz; grandchildren, Trent (Kayla) Brannon and Cathrine Brannon; step grandchildren, Lucas (Courtney) Anders, Landon Anders, and Lexi Anders; great grandchildren, Parker Brannon and Tyler Brakeman; step great grandchildren, Jacob Brooks, Tyvn Ellis, and Knox Anders; brothers, Jerry (Glenda) Brannon and Dexter (Sheila) Brannon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Zeman Brannon and mother, Delia Brannon.
