Helen Rita Taylor

Helen Rita Taylor, 87 of Nauvoo, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her residence.

She was born August 7, 1936, in Rhode Island.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 12:00pm -1:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will follow at 1:00pm. O’Neal Taylor will Officiate. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Nancy Samson; son, Joe Taylor; granddaughters, Brenda Samson, Erin Samson, Amy Wales, Brandy Wales, Danielle Wales, Lauren Ria Taylor, Jennifer Espeseth, and Breanna Mattison. Grandsons, Ernie Samson, Carl Wales, and Alex Mattison; and a host of great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Regina and Roy Geyer; brother, Teddy Fontaine; sister, Sylvia Brouillette; daughters, Helen Brophy and Linda Mattison; and granddaughter, Aidrianna Malin Taylor.
