Gloria Ann Barton

Gloria Ann Barton, 67 of Haleyville, passed away October 9, 2023, at Lakeland Community Hospital.

She was born March 12, 1956, in Haleyville, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where a funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Baptist #2 Church Cemetery. Dr. Ron Horton will officiate.

Gloria is survived by her son, Brian Moody; sister, Deandra (Robert) Ford; granddaughter, Tori Steele; 2 great grandchildren; niece, Carlie Ford; nephews, Jonathan Ford, Jeff Barnett, and Jamie Barnett; sister-in-law, Paulette (Johnny) Barnett; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kimsey Barton Jr.; son, Kimsey Dustin Barton; parents, Carlie and Fayrene Barnett; and grandparents, Reverend Hugh and Zula Barnett, and Melvin and Lessie Tittle.
