Glennis Vernon Hill, age 74 of the Wilson Bend Community, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Glennis Vernon Hill, age 74 of the Wilson Bend Community, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Glennis was born April 8, 1950 to William Riley Hill and Vera Mae Chambless Hill. He was a hard working family man who always put others ahead of himself. Visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church (Wilson Bend) where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Brother Mike Tidwell will officiate. Glennis is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gail Hill; daughter, Sandra (Randall) Busby; son, Nathan Hill; grandchildren, Mallory Taylor and Justin Taylor; sisters, Martha Drodzewski and Shelva Jean Hay; brothers, Hubert (Ann) Hill and Glenn (Sharon) Hill; and a host of nieces and nephews.
