George Edgar Milligan

George Edgar Milligan, age 80, of Haleyville, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville, where the service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville.
George was survived by his wife; Julia Hamby Milligan, sons Paul Milligan and Stephen Milligan (LaRay); daughter Paula Martin (Dencil); seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Edgar Milligan and Louise Morrell Milligan Williams, and sister Glinda Clemmons.
