Gene A Brown

Gene A. Brown, age 85, of Double Springs, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2024 at Hendrix Health and Rehab Center. 

He was born on March 31, 1938 in Kalamazoo, Missouri. Gene loved to ride horses and rode the highways to visit friends and relatives. He often would visit places he wanted to see. Gene never met a stranger. 

Gene is survived by his children, Pat (Perry) Stricklin, Tammy Brown, Darlene (Craig) Jones, Gene A. Brown, Jr., and Brett Brown; grandchildren, Ashley Cunningham, Abby Bolan, Keeton Stricklin, Dustin Stricklin, Bridget Poores, Cody Poores, Casey Poores, Destiny Brown, Tabitha Brown Patrick Brown, Amanda Brown, Savannah Brown, Sandra Brown, Jared Allen and Justin Brown; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jule Brown and Christina White.
