Frankie Rae Hyatt

Frankie Rae Hyatt, 83, of Decatur, Alabama formerly of Haleyville entered into rest on November 8, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Hyatt was born on July 8, 1938 in Tishomingo, Mississippi.   She was the owner of Frankie’s Ladies Clothing in Jasper for 32 years; she was a strong Christian woman who was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ faith.  

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 1:30pm-2:30pm at Double Springs Church of Christ, where services will be held at 2:30pm. Vance Hutton will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Addison, Alabama. Servicing as pallbearers will be Gerald Newsom Jr., Gerald Thomas Newsom III, Ben Adams, Mark Jones, Chase Jones and Cole Newsom.

Mrs. Hyatt is survived by her daughter, Patti (Gerald) Newsom; grandchildren, Tasha (Mark) Jones, Christen (Ben) Adams, Gerald Thomas (Tiffany) Newsom, III, and Owen Hyatt; great grandchildren, Kayli and Chase Jones, Mary Hyatt and Molly Adams, Abby and Cole Newsom; sister, Betty Bull; brother, Robert Bruton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlon Hyatt; son, David Hyatt; parents, Frank and Eula Bruton.
