Elisha Don Pepper, 87 of Arley, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Pepper was born October 12, 1932. Don enjoyed working and being outdoors. He was very proud to have served his country in the Korean War. He enjoyed taking care of his cattle and he and Joy enjoyed taking trips to the mountains. He attended Eva High School and was a member of Meek Baptist Church for 14 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 11am to 12pm at Meek Baptist Church, where services will be at 12pm. Burial will follow in Meek Cemetery. Don is survived by his wife, Myrtle "Tiny" Pepper, children, Paul Pepper and Sherry (Charles) Hyde; grandchildren, Megan (Nathan) Fincher, Mackenzie Pepper, Logan Hyde, Olivia Hyde and Colin Hyde; great grandchildren, Carson Fincher and Olivia Fincher and sister-in-law, Wynda Schiesz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Vera Edwards Pepper; first wife, Joy Honor Lindley Pepper and sisters, Dorthy Faye Burnett and Vernell Humphrey.
