Edith Ruth Daniel

Edith Ruth Daniel, 80, of Phil Campbell, entered into rest on August 1, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center.

Mrs. Daniel was born on March 10, 1939 in Lawrence County, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 12pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2pm. Vance Hutton will officiate. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

Edith is survived by her husband of 63 years, Shirley Maxwell Daniel; daughters, Teresa Logan and husband Anthony, Rhonda Evers, Mitzi Mansell, and Jessica Molock and husband Drew. She was “Maw Maw” to 4 grandchildren, Chris James, Daniel Evers, Britt Mansell, Payton Mansell, and 4 great grandchildren, Kressley James, Cyrus Evers, Xylee James, and Atticus Evers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Voit and Lula Taylor; brothers, Murphy Taylor, Clayton Taylor, James Thomas Taylor; and sister, Edna Taylor.
