Dorothy Maxine Rowe

Dorothy Maxine Rowe, 94, of Double Springs passed away on October 2, 2019 at Hendrix Health and Rehab. Maxine was born on October 4, 1924 in Houston Alabama. She worked for the U.S. Forestry Service and she loved farming. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel, with burial in Williams Chapel Cemetery. Reverend Lloyd Jenkins will officiate. Maxine is survived by her sisters-in-law, Tom E. Rowe and Joann Rowe; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mattie Rowe; brothers, Russell Rowe, Dorsey Rowe, Johnny Rowe; sisters, Mildred Jenkins and Wilodene Sims; and an infant brother.
