Diane Crane Defoor, age 58 of Athens, Alabama, formerly of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022.
She was born on April 21, 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama. Diane, also known as “Di” or “Dinger”, was loved by so many. She loved her grandbabies and was always capturing the moment with a camera in her hand.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Lynn, Alabama. Brother Joseph “Dezi” Desiderio will officiate.
Diane is survived by her sons, Chris (Christy) Defoor, and Jason (Linda) Defoor; siblings, Donald (Connie) Crane, Charles (Kathy) Crane, Regina (late, Tommy) Thomas, Edward Crane, Kenneth Crane, Debra (William “Willie”) Singleton, and James (Debbie) Crane; grandkids, Conner, CamberMae, Michael, and Anthony; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, William Earl and Kathryn Crane; mother, Louise Tucker Crane; and sister, Juanita Cox.
