Dewies Anthony Benson

Dewies Anthony Benson, 74, of Arley entered into rest on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Dewies was born on December 19, 1945.  He was a good family man, who loved his family, especially his kids and grandkids.  He loved people and felt blessed for every day he was able to enjoy life and loved being outside with his dog.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Meek Baptist Church from 1pm-3pm, where the service will begin at 3pm.  Brother Kerry Cleghorn and Brother Corey Cochran will officiate.  Burial will follow in Arley Congregational Church Cemetery.

Dewies is survived by his wife of 48 ½  years, Sharon; sons, Jake and his wife,  Brigette and Patrick and Debra; grandsons, Jagger, Jarrett and Aiden and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Iman and Clera Benson.
