Deborah "Debbie" Riddle Cox

Deborah Riddle Cox, 66 of Houston, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Debbie was born on February 13, 1955 in Sikeston, Missouri. She was a very special person, who never met a stranger. She loved to play bingo and fish, and she loved her dogs.

The family will host a celebration of life on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2pm at New Home – Moreland Baptist Church in the Moreland Community. Brother Abe Rooks will officiate.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Dwight Cox; sons, Patrick Sewell and his wife Stacy, and Steven Sewell and his wife Tiffany; grandsons, Logan Sewell, Mason Sewell and Luke Sewell; brothers, Charles Ray Riddle, Keith Riddle and Kirk Riddle; and sister, Donna Brooks.

She was preceded in death by father, Calvin Ray Riddle; mother, Christine Riddle; mother Athadean Swindle; brothers, Ronnie, Ricky and Michael Ray Riddle; and sister, Diane Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to the VFW, 784 Culver Road, Falkville, Alabama 35622.
