David Leon Turner

David Leon Turner, age 70 of Addison, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his residence.

He was born August 6, 1953 to Dave and Winfrey Turner. David loved to ride his Harley Davidson, fishing, hanging out with his friends, and gardening. He also enjoyed traveling to the mountains and taking trips with his son. All his grandchildren called him “Paw Paw”. 

David is survived by his wife, Jennifer Blackwood Turner; children, Brandy Turner, and David Turner; step-children, Gina (Trevor) Poss, Heath (Amy) Hood, Keith (Danielle) Hood; grandchildren, Oriana Godbee, Lexi Sproul, Duncan Headrick, Dalton Benson, Makenzie Hood, Zeta Hood, Ivey Carrillo, Ryder Carrillo, Myla Poss, Robin Hood, and Katana Hood; great granddaughter, Charley Peak; and brother, Raymond Turner;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Winfrey Turner; sisters, Melissa Weaver and Kathrine Hacis; and brother, Hal Vance.
