Darlene Box Williams

Darlene Box Williams, age 67 of the Mooreland community, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation in Double Springs, Alabama.

She was born August 28, 1956 to Luther and Lonie Box. Darlene was a wise, patient, loving and beautiful woman. She enjoyed bird watching, doing word searches and watching the game show network. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, Alabama from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Brother Chris Riddle will officiate.

Darlene is survived by her son, William Mathew Spain; daughter, Beverly Renee Spain; granddaughters, Destin Nicole Seymore and Dakota Lane Lott; grandson, Chance Aaron Lott; great grandchildren, Easton Durkin and Leo Gray; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lonie Box; husband, Donald Ray Williams; three sisters; and four brothers.
