Dalis Keith Barton

Dalis Keith Barton, 83 of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his residence. Keith was born on August 17, 1938 in Lynn, AL to Alton Lee Barton and Lola Ethel Pendley Barton. He was a member of Lynn First Baptist Church. Mr. Barton was a devoted husband, father, and Paw Paw. He enjoyed talking to and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the Lord and his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home – Double Springs. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lynn City Cemetery. Brother Kim Byram will officiate. Keith is survived by his wife, Minnie Mae Barton; his children, Byron Barton and wife Tracey, Tammy McCleese and husband Roy, Connie Hayes, and Allen Traylor; grandchildren, Kesha Anderson and husband Garrett, Katie Mobley and husband Cody, Tessa Traylor, Lindsey Williams and husband Jarius; Lane Yancey and wife Brooklyn, Lexie Barton, and Rachel McCleese; great grandchildren Tony Franks, Anlee Franks, Kenley Dooley, Hudson Mobley, Mason Mobley, Aurora Mobley, Ally Anderson, Caroline Anderson, Jace Williams; and on the way baby girl Yancey and baby girl Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Lee Barton and Lola Ethel Barton; brother, Oscar Lee Barton; and sister, Margaret Marie Barton.
