Cubie Irene Wallace Spivey

Cubie Irene Wallace Spivey, 72, of Cullman, Alabama, formerly of the Water Valley Community, entered into rest on September 15, 2021 at Woodland Village in Cullman.

Mrs. Spivey was born on January 6, 1949 in Littleville, Alabama. She was a member of Emeus Baptist Church in Logan for the last five years. She loved her husband, her family and all kinds of animals, and enjoyed taking care of all of them.   

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 5-7pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be Monday at 12pm. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery in Russellville.

Cubie is survived by her son, Andy Spivey; daughter, Cubie Ann (Matthew) Calloway; grandchildren, Angel, Dora Hope, William, Irene, Matthew, Austin and Daniel; great grandchildren, Destiny and Aubrey Faith; sister, Barbara Hyde; former daughter-in-law, Malenia Veal; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Franklin Spivey; parents, Andrew and Dora Wallace; and brothers, Jack Wallace and Aubrey Wallace.
