Christeen May Sutton Adams

Christeen May Sutton Adams of Double Springs entered into rest on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Adams was born on July 19, 1953 in Moulton, Alabama. She enjoyed sewing and knitting for family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at Antioch Baptist Church, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 1pm, after a lie in-state from 12pm-1pm. Burial will follow in Sardis #2 Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Sammy Tidwell will officiate.

Christeen is survived by her husband, Hollis Adams, Jr.; sons: Frankie (Amanda) Adams, Neeley Adams (Amber Spradlin) and Wendell Adams (Nakita Statham); daughter, Dorothy Adams; grandkids: Sarah Adams, Faith (Evan) Brimer, Emilee (Jericho) Lewis, Blake Adams (Skylar Ewing), Summer Adams (Stephen Mair), Marquita Adams, Ciara Adams, Ella Spradlin, Hannah Adams, Carley Adams and Zachary Adams; great grands: Carter Swims, Samuel Lewis, Jett Mair, Presley Brimer and Katie Mae Brimer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dovie Lee Sutton; sisters, Ellen Johnson and Helen Grissom; brothers, James Sutton and Johnny Sutton; granddaughter, Brookelynne Alexus; great granddaughter, Madelyn Grace; and great grandson, Wyatt Neal.
