Buckey Ray Baker

Buckey Ray Baker, 76 of Haleyville, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at his residence.

He was born August 27, 1947, in Addison, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the services at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Double Springs. Brother Rickey Witt will officiate.

Buckey is survived by his siblings, Jewell Sams, Jerry Baker, Betty Simpson, Randa Allen, and Brenda Baker; children, Cassie (Chris) Garrison, James (Alexis) Baker, and Justin (Medina) Baker; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie G. Baker; sons, Ray Taylor, Buckey Baker Jr., and Johnathon Baker.
