Brenda Lee Snyder

Brenda Lee Snyder, 61 of Arley, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 30, 1962, in Spring Valley, Illinois. Brenda attended Liberty Baptist Church.

Brenda met the love of her life, David, while they both were still attending high school. They were married for 38 years when he passed away in 2019. In that time, they raised two daughters and were gifted with three grandsons. Her grandsons were her world.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Burial will follow the service at Liberty Cemetery in Helicon Community. Brother Greg Dollar will officiate.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Christy Fisher, and her husband Jace, and Nicole Gonzalez, and her husband Anthony; grandchildren, Liam, Sawyer, and Riley; siblings, Carol Whaley, Jimmy Thomas, Gary Thomas, Danny Thomas, and Bobby Thomas; her loving dog, Gizmo; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nolon Thomas; mother, Janet Thomas; and husband, David Snyder.
