Betty Faye Ledbetter

Betty Faye Walker Ledbetter of Fruithurst, Alabama, formerly of Addison, passed away May 1, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 30, 1945 to Roy and Laura Walker. Betty loved to spoil her grandkids and her grand pups. She was very proud of all her kids and grands. She loved her work family at Mercedes in Vance, AL. Betty loved to cook. She made the best fried pies, strawberry jelly, fried peanuts, cornbread and biscuits and gravy.  Betty loved Hallmark (the older movies), watermelon (with salt), tomatoes from the garden, and Nick Saban. She could sell Avon to anyone. She helped so many people throughout her time on this earth. She had a heart of gold. Betty was tough and strong with an amazing work ethic. She was a successful, savvy businesswoman who could multitask better than most. She taught us to be independent, to love completely, and fiercely, defend those we love, and follow her example to be gracious and faithful.

Graveside service will be held Monday, May 13, 2024 at 2:00p.m. (CST) at Arley Congregational (Smith Cemetery) in Arley, Alabama. Brother Kenneth Sudduth will officiate.
