Betty Sue Burgess

Betty Sue Burgess, 84, of Cullman entered into rest on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Woodland Village Health Care Center.

Mrs. Burgess was born December 21, 1936 in Winston County.  Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved everyone.  She was an avid reader and a lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11am at Liberty Baptist Church.  Brother Tim Box will officiate.

Betty is survived by her son,  Terry Burgess and his wife, Susan; grandson, Joshua Burgess and his wife, Allison; granddaughter, Ashley Valladares and her husband, Tony; great grandchildren, Eleanor Burgess and Harrison Valladares and brother, Neal Woodard and his wife, Karen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, T.B. Woodard and Lillie Bell Parris Woodard; children, Gary, Larry, Gregory and Charlotte and brothers, Jimmy Woodard and Douglas Woodard.
