Bertis “Bert” Young, Jr.

Bertis “Bert” Young, Jr., 50 of Double Springs, entered into rest Monday, November 9, 2020 at Grandview Medical Center.

He was born September 4, 1970 in Haleyville, Alabama.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 12pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will begin at 2pm.  Brother Danny Page will officiate.  Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery.

The family asks that all who attend the service to please wear a mask.

Bertis is survived by his parents, Bertis Young Sr. and Zena Martin Young; girlfriend, Lynndee Rainey and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Viola Young and Cecil and Grace Martin and uncles, Bobby Young and Jimmy Martin
