Barbra Kay Godsey

Barbra Kay Godsey, 39 of Double Springs, passed away on October 22, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Birmingham.

She was born July 8, 1984, in Jasper, Alabama.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 3:00pm at Shady Grove Cemetery in Double Springs, Alabama. Brother Steve Wakefield will officiate.

Barbra is survived by her fiancé, James Green; mother, Vera West; sister, Le Ann Godsey; aunt, Roma (Homer) Rice; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen O’Neal Welch; father, O’Neal Godsey; grandparents, Howard and Ada Godsey; and brother, Paul Godsey.
