Amy Ruth Hertzog Madison

Amy Madison, 62 of Arley, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Amy was born on March 6, 1958 to James and Janet Hertzog. Amy was such a tender hearted, compassionate woman. Her number one priority was family and she would never hesitate to put herself last to ensure her family’s happiness. She was a children’s church teacher for three years. She loved life and her grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Nesmith Church from 12-2pm, where service will be held at 2pm. Brother Steton Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow in adjoining cemetery.

Amy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jimmy Madison; mother, Janet Hertzog; sons, Kris (Jennifer) Madison and Jonathan (Samantha) Madison; daughter, Jessica (Mark) Didcoct; grandchildren, Aubrey, Ainsley, Mackenzie, Andrew, Oliver, and Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Hertzog; brother Kurt Hertzog.
