Almond Ray Woods

Almond Ray Woods, 69 of Vinemont, entered into rest on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his home.

Almond was born on July 24, 1952 in Alabama. He was interested in studying people and enjoyed his job as a Mental Health Tech at the North Alabama Regional Hospital in Decatur, where he retired after 20 years.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 9:30:10:00 am at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be at 10:00am. Burial will be in Mount Vernon West FCM Church Cemetery. 

Almond is survived by his brother, Bowman D. Woods and his wife Reba; sister, Beverly A. Bricker and her husband John; his dog, Trixie; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Almond C. and Betty J. Woods; and brother, Steve Woods.
