Lynda Hamby Whitman, age 50 of Haleyville passed away February 28, 2007 at her residence. Services will be 11:00 a.m. March 2nd at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery. Brother Jake Yarbrough and Brother Rayburn Whitman officiating. Survivors: Parents- James R. and Ruby Whitman of Haleyville. 3 Daughters- Amy Frost of Carbon Hill, Rhonda Kelley of Haleyville and Crystal Pigg of Double Springs. 3 Brothers- James and David Whitman of Haleyville and John Whitman of Bear Creek. 3 Sisters- Doris Barr of Maryland, Frances Whitehead of Haleyville and Judy Kizewski of Dallas, Texas. 6 Grandchildren Arrangements by Nichols Funeral Home of Haleyville.
