Richard Thomas Harris, age 70 of Haleyville, passed away January 16, 2007 at Lakeland Community Hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. January 18th at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville. Burial will follow in Posey Mill Cemetery. Reverend Dennis Chambers and Rev. Ricky White officiating. Survivors: Wife-Bertha Harris 3 Sons- Richard Thomas Harris, Jr. and Phil Lee Harris of Indiana and Richard Gene Harris of Haleyville. 3 Daughters- Jennifer Swims of Indiana, Mary Creel and Sheila Mays of Haleyville. 2 Brothers- James and Johnny Harris of Indiana. 3 Sisters- Geraldean McMahan and Edna Markham of Haleyville and Ruby Harris of Indiana. 13 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Cenie Harris, grandchild, Telitha Harris, two sisters and one brother.
