Visitation for Mr. Norris will be Saturday, 6-9:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Joseph Odell Norris, age 85 of Haleyville, passed away January 12, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Norris was a U.S. Army Veteran. Services will be 3:00 p.m. January 14th at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Brother Joe Spiller officiating. Survivors: Wife-Eleanor Norris of 65 years. 2 Sons-Auburn Vann Norris and Allan Keith Norris of Haleyville. 1 Daughter-Ellen Kay Miller of Haleyville. 1 Sister-Dorris Tessener of Haleyville. 13 Grand and step-grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren Host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, William W. and Emily Norris, infant daughter, Judy Carol Norris, son, Jerry V.
