J.A. "T" Rushing

Visitation for Mr. Rushing, will be Friday, 6-9:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. J.A. “T” Rushing, age 77 of Haleyville, passed away January 11, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Rushing was a life long resident of Marion county and worked at the Haleyville Textile Mills for 31 years. Mr. Rushing was a member of Union Grove Congregational Church and also a member of the Haleyville Masonic Lodge. Services will be 11:00 a.m. January 13th at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Reverend George Jones and Reverend Phillip Vinson officiating. Survivors: 1 Son-Gary Rushing and wife Charlotte of Haleyville. 1 Grandson- Shaun Rushing and wife Tara of Haleyville. 1 Sister- Mavis Ruth Walker of Florence, AL. Preceded in death by his wife, Lue Dean Rushing, parents, Locky Dee and Mary Rushing, infant son, Steve Allen Rushing, two brothers, Bill and Shorty Rushing and one sister, Ethel Burleson.
