She was born on July 9, 1949 in Blountsville, AL to Clarence and Willie Barbee. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-9Pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10AM at Sardis Baptist Church. Pastor Perry Knight will officiate. She will lie in state from 9-10AM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Survived by: Husband – Denzil Thurman Meigs Son – Larry DeWayne Payne Daughters – Pamela Sue (Terry) Freeman and Brenda (Duke) McFadden Browder Sisters – Shirley Coiro, Thelma Cook, Faye Thornton, Barbara Jackson, Janice Wilson and Mary Mayfield Brothers – Ray Barbee, Donald Barbee and Stanley Barbee 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
