Sarah Lois Smothers

Sarah Lois Smothers, 87, of Double Springs passed away on December 22, 2006. She was born on April 29, 1919 in Winston County, AL to Charlie and Lucy Chambless. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-9PM at Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 2PM at Bethel Baptist Church. Reverend Robert Blankenship will officiate. Burial will be in Mt Hope Cemetery Survived by: Brother – Lester Chambless of Slocumb, AL Sisters – Vera Mae Hill of Arley and Flossie Hembree of Columbiaville, AL Preceded in death by: Husband – Travis Smothers Parents – Charlie and Lucy Chambless Brother – Arthur Chambless Half Brother – Elmer Pope Half Sister – Eunice Hood
