Mr. Pickens served in the army national guard. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. December 19th at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Double Springs.  Burial will follow in Henryfield Cemetery. Reverend Gary Salters officiating.   Survivors:   Wife-Darlene Pickens   1 Son-Jeremy Pickens of Haleyville.   1 Daughter-Amy Pickens of Haleyville.   3 Brothers-Kenneth Spiers, Ronnie and Larry Pickens of Haleyville.   3 Sisters-Linda Henderson and Betty Baldy of Haleyville and Connie Abbott of Houston, AL.   3 Grandchildren   Preceded in death by his parents, Hiarm and Eva Pickens, two sisters, Carolyn Maddox and Louise Ripley, five brothers, Doyal, James Ruby, and John Henry Spires and Roy and Hubert Pickens.   Arrangements by Nichols Funeral Home of Double Springs.
