He was born on May 14, 1921 in Addison, AL to Edgar E. and Virgie B. Carroll. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6-8 PM at Nichols Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 2PM at Friendship Baptist Church in Upshaw. Rev. Glenn Wood, Rev. Donald Carroll and James Matthew Carroll will officiate He will lie in state from 1-2PM, and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. He served his country in the United States Army. Survived by: Wife – Florene L Carroll of Addison Son – James O.
