Leona Peppers

Leona Peppers, 81, of Jasper passed away on November 27, 2006 in Jasper.   She was born on August 17, 1925 in Marion County to Marvin and Dona Revis Whitten.   Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-9PM at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison.   Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11AM at Piney Ridge Church of God in Arley.   Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery in Arley.   Survived by:   Son – Roger Peppers   Sisters – Willowdean Hall, Pauline Jackson, Mabel Brown, MaryLou Riddle and Ethel Faye Knappenberger   6 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren   Preceded in death by:   Father – Marvin Whitten   Mother – Dona Revis Whitten   Husband – Arthur Emery Peppers   Sons – Billy Jack Peppers and Edward Emery Peppers   Sisters – Linda Diane, Rosalee, Lola and Ruby Roberta Whitten, Zella Lee Whitten-Whitehead and Lillian Lassiter   Brothers – George Melvin, Marvin Odell, Bobby Ray and Willie Gene Whitten
