Of Colliersville, Tennessee, formerly of Lynn, Alabama passed away at Baptist East Medical Center in Memphis early today. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-9 p.m. Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial in Ashbank Cemetery. Survivors-Wife, Linda Townsend Son-Leroy Capps-Lynn, AL Daughters-Kathy Snell of Brady, Texas and Samantha Capps of Collierville, TN. Mother-Sarah Ruth Townsend of Lynn Brother-Grady Townsend of Nauvoo Sister-Marie Guthrie of Lynn 7 Grandchildren Host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his Father, Vermilya Chesterfee Townsend, one brother, Horace Townsend, two sisters, Mildred Mann and Lois Turner.
