Willodene Blackwood

Willodene Blackwood, 79, of Nesmith passed away on October 19, 2006 in Cullman. She was born on January 17, 1927 in Winston County to Rufus and Lydia Mae Tolbert. She was a member of Nesmith Methodist Church for many years. She was a loving wife to Herman for 60 years and mother of five sons. She will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends and neighbors Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5-9PM at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 pm at Nesmith Methodist Church. She will lie in state from 12:30 – 1:30. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
