Rethia P. Terry

Visitation for Mrs. Terry will be Sunday, 6-9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Rethia P. (Yancey) Terry age 78, of Haleyville passed away October 7, 2006 in Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville following a long illness. She was born November 14, 1927 to Charles and Dollie Yancey. She married Coy M. Terry May 29, 1948. Mrs. Terry lived most of her life in Aurora, Illinois returning to Haleyville after her retirement from Sealmaster Bearing Company. Graveside services were 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 9th at Mt. Home Cemetery. Burial will follow at Mt. Home Cemetery. Brother Frank Stone officiating. Mrs. Terry is survived by one son Coy W. (Sue) Terry of Haleyville, one daughter Linda (Bob) Does of Tonica, Illinois, two sisters her twin Ruby Beck and Beatrice Crane of Bear Creek. One brother Jefferson Yancey of Tampa, Florida several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, her youngest son Everett R. Terry, two grandsons Coy J. Terry and Robert P. Does in infancy, two sisters Viola Davis, Geneva Shirley, Two brothers, Luster Yancey and John W. Yancey.
