Ruth Snoddy Bennish

Mrs. Bennish passed away in Jasper, Alabama. She was a longtime resident of the Birmingham area where she was employed by UAB Medical Center for many years. She served as an administrative assistant in the Department of Speech and Hearing. Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church of Double Springs Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00PM. The funeral service will be held in the church sanctuary at 11:00AM Wednesday. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs. She is survived by her daughters Susan Witherington of Cape Coral, Florida and Sarah Robinson of Bessemer, Alabama. Also survived by a sister Tommie Campbell of Double Springs, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
