Jewell Jenkins Norris, age 93 of Haleyville, passed away August 2, 2006 in Lakeland Community Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, 1-2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Haleyville. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. August 4th at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Reverend John Simmons officiating. Norris of Port Charlotte, Florida and Ray Norris and wife Theda of Haleyville, AL. 1 Daughter-Mrs. Billy (Juanita) Rhodes of Florence, AL. 1 Sister-Mrs. Frank (Ruth) M. Johnson, Jr. of Montgomery, AL. 8 Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren 5 Great Great Grandchildren Brother-In-Law-Francis Hammond Nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Rel Norris, parents, William Riley and Francis Edna Rice Jenkins, brothers, Edgar Millard Jenkins and Eric Clifford Jenkins, sisters, Florence Marie Jenkins Harris, Eunice Nettie Jenkins Hammond and Eula Mae Jenkins Williams and a granddaughter, Regina Cheryl Norris Denton.
