James Arthur Rice, age 79 of Double Springs, passed away July 29, 2006 in Cullman Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Monday, 6-9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. August 1st at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Williams officiating. Survivors: Wife-Lillie Rice 2 Sons-Clint and Frankie Rice of Double Springs. 1 Daughter-Mavis Baldy of Double Springs. 6 Brothers-Alvin, Earl, J.L., Junior, Homer and Neal Rice of Double Springs. 1 Sister-Rose Rogers of Double Springs. 4 Grandchildren Preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Eleanor Rice.
