Elmer Elvis Vest, age 65 of Double Springs passed away June 15, 2006 at his residence. Visitation will be Friday, 6-9:00 p.m. from Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17th from Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery. Survivors: Wife-Sharon Vest 1 Son-Erin Vest of Sylvan Springs, AL 3 Daughters-Beverly Gardner of Crossville, Al., Stacy Wesson of Adger, AL., and Jessie Sims of West Blocton, AL. 1 Brother-Ted Vest of Pleasant Grove, AL. 4 Sisters-Floy Thompson of Trenton, Ga., Marylin Eunice and Barbara Rice of Double Springs and Audrey Pearl of Jasper, AL. 1 Grandchild Preceded in death by parents, George Elmer and Bertie Vest, one son, Eric Vest, nine sisters and three brothers.
