Billy James Wakefield, age 69 of Haleyville passed away June 13, 2006 in Lakeland Community Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, 6-9:00 p.m. from Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17th from Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Military graveside will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Survivors: 2 Sons-Shawn Lee and Scott Lamont Wakefield. 3 Daughters-Kimberly Sue Loveless, Cyranda Carol Adamson and Michelle Delaine Mauldin. 3 Brothers-Kenneth H., Donald T. and Timothy D. Wakefield. 7 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild Preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Margaret Wakefield, one brother, Ronald L. Wakefield and a granddaughter, Ashleigh Taran Loveless.
